Passport related issue
I had applied for passport renewal in the month of feb 2019. After police verification by the concerned police station I got the below message on 26/02/2019 Your Passport Verification is complete, Contact your Passport Office. Courtesy:Police Computer Wing Hence the passport was delivered to my permanent address. But the issue now is that after delivery of my passport I got another messages 28/02/2019 saying BN[deleted]: Police has submitted Adverse report for your Current Address. So please advise me on this whether my new passport is valid or not. If not valid please advise on how to proceed in this matter?

1. IF you have already received your Passport, THEN check the address recorded in the passport. IF it is proper, THEN visit the Police station and inform them that address is correct and provide them with all relevant documentary evidences of the permanent address. The matter will be closed, permanently.
As long as the Passport Authority has not invalidated your passport by giving you enough opportunity to show cause, the passport can not be revoked.
So your passport is very much valid and enforceable under the eye of law.

Check the status of verification report. What report submitted by them. Passport is valid in all sense, Only thing to verify is if any hold is not issued on passport.

It's valid passport but now you need to confirm the permanent address of yours by providing proof in the commissioner office.
You may have to visit the passport office and clarify the issue in person.
If there is an adverse report by police then you may have to give n affidavit stating why and what want wrong as the police has given this adverse report
You will be advised based on the report available with them on further course of action to be complied with in this regard.
If you have mentioned your current address correctly and have given details of other addresses where you stayed in one year before the date of application (that is if your stay at current address is less than one year) then there’s nothing to worry.
If there’s some other innocent mistake explain it to the officer.
It means that you were not present at the address mentioned in the application form, when the policeman visited to get the signatures. Either the policeman went and you were not there or the policeman without going to your address has sent an adverse report

A very weird situation. Contact the passport office. They must have inter mixed the reports. Or if it is a genuine problem then find out what went wrong.
