you would be entitled to OBC Nl certificate as you were recruited in class 3 post and promoted to class 1 after age of 40 years
Sir I am retired executive (Chief accounts officer) in a PSU(BSNL). My post is equivalent to class 1 officer but I initially recruited on the post of clerical non gazetted in govt of India. (I observed in PSU ie BSNL in 2000)I Was promoted to class one officer after age of 40 (in 55 age). I was heard that ' if you recruited in class 3 you will be considered in NCL even thereafter you got promotion in class 1. I was also recruited in class 3 I also heard that ' if you promoted after age of 40 then also you will be considered in OBC NCL.' I was promoted in class 1 after age of 40. I am resident of Rajasthan state. My son completed 11th and 12th from Delhi school. As per order my son will be considered 85% Delhi state quota in mbbs admission in Delhi. My question is My cast is Teli and listed in the Rajasthan,Delhi state and central list as OBC cast. My domicile is Rajasthan but my son completed 11th 12th from Delhi so he will be considered 85% Delhi state quota. Can I apply in OBC Category in mbbs admission in Delhi medical colleges in 85% Delhi state quota. Kindly guide with govt order number/copy of order.
No, your information is wrong. Those who are promoted before 40 years of age and have income less than 8 lacs, they will still consider under creamy layer.
In your case, if your pension income is crossing 8 lacs, your son will consider OBC C.
And applying without prior OBC NC certificate will be futile.
If father was recruited direct to class 2 position
and than promted to class 1 before age of 40
than it would be no longer NCL. if you recruited in class 3 post and promoted you will be considered in NCL.
Since you were recruited as a class III employee and was promoted to class I post after the age of 40 years, you can apply for the reservation under OBC NCL category for your son.
You are very much eligible for this reservation.
You can verify the details and can apply for the said examination in Delhi if yor caste comes under OBC in Delhi or the central list.
