you cannot generalise that police take bribes for filing charge sheet . police have to investigate if offence is made out then charge sheet would be filed

Police taking bribes for filing a robust charge sheet is a common phenomenon in the country. It boils down to the integrity of the concerned police officer. If charge sheet is shoddy and botched up it can be challenged by the victim.
