Do I belong to OBC creamy layer or non creamy layer
My father joined as class C officer at defense accounts department and promoted to class B officer at age of 46. My mother is a house wife. Right now he is earning more than 8 lakhs. Will i belong to creamy layer or non creamy layer.

You will get the benefit of OBC Non- creamy layer since your father joined as class C employee and was promoted after age of 40.
You are entitled to OBC NL certificate as your father joined govt service as class C officer and promoted to class B after age of 40
Income of father is immaterial
staus is considered and not income
Due to father working in Grade B office you are covered in creamy layer category.
You belong to non creamy layer.
You can very well apply for the non creamy layer category reservation by obtaining the OBC NCL certificate from the revenue department.
