How to obtain copy of docs related to particular case from sub-court
I am planning to purchase a plot in my home town in salem(Dt),Tamilnadu.I have taken EC from 1987 to till date and entries in EC looks good .But I came to know that there was a dispute and one of the person filled case against this property and it has been settled in LOK ADALAT. My Question is, How can i obtain the details about this particular case from the Sub Court,? Can i appoint a lawyer and approach the sub court to get the following certified Docs. 1) Copy of petition filled by plaintiff 2) written statement of Defendant 3) Terms of settlement 4) final judgement copy ..etc 5) other docs used in this case. You can file a third party affidavit and issue a vakalatnama to an advocate of your choice and can obtain the certified copies of the required/desired documents from the said court.
Yes, you may have to furnish the details and particulars of the cae in detail in your third party affidavit to be filed along with your vakalatnama and the copy application seeking certified copies of the desired documents from court.
It is better to take services of a Local Advocate through him you need to file an application seeking permission for taking the aforesaid documents along with an application for issuing certified copy of the same.
