• Would half height boundary on land will claim my ownership while inspection by block officer

Mutation of bought land are in progress and Circle Inspector(CI) is going to visit land to validate Dakhal on my land. I have built wall boundary on that land, but height of wall is below waist, even lower than that. Is that enough to validate my land in front of Circle inspector? Is there anything extra i can do
to validate my possession on land before CI?
Note: All paper document and sale deed are ok. Land is bought on 2015.

See you have valid documents of ownership and possession , the wall is enough to prove your possession and he shall validate your possession in mutation.

A boundary wall is in your interest as nobody can encroach without tearing down the wall. The height of the wall will not affect your area in any way. The Government official would measure and set boundaries.

1. Ask all the Four side neighbors to give statement to Circle Inspector, showing your undisputed possession of land.  This will be more than sufficient.

2. IF the CI, still creates problems, THEN you will have to conduct Govt. Survey thru the Tahsil office of the taluka via the Survey Dept., and obtain their Survey report, layout plan and demarcations etc....

Compound wall of minimum 1.5 m height to a maximum of 2.4 m height with permission from the local municipality is permissible. Below waist size, any one can trespass/even animals.

Low height of wall to validate Dakhal not an issue but advisable to erect higher.

1. Yes it is enough to validate your possession on land before circle inspector.

2. No need to do anything else if you have all documents of land.

The barbed wire fencing or the boundary wall built around the boundaries of the property covering the property will clearly indicate the possession of the property by the buyer.

Height of the wall is not a matter of concern.
