Those carrying out construction and demolition activities, despite SC order, would be fined Rs one lakh. Keep waiting till further orders and watered the foundations.

Dear Sir,

As Delhi's air quality remained severe on Saturday, authorities extended till November 12 the ban on construction activities, industries using coal and biomass, and entry of trucks, while the CPCB issued show cause notices to police departments and officials of Delhi-NCR over "non-compliance" of the Supreme Court order.

The National Green Tribunal (NGT) today lifted its ban on construction activities in Delhi-NCR and allowed trucks to enter the national capital, while asking authorities to strictly monitor their movement. The green panel, however, refused to lift its ban on industrial activities causing pollution in the Delhi-National Capital Region region.

1. Apply for NOC from building proposal dept., of Municipal Dept., or Town Planning Dept.

2. IF you get above NOC, ONLY then start constructions, instead of facing prosecution for violation of orders.

New Delhi Reacting to the plunging air quality, the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has extended the ban on overnight construction activities and industries not using piped natural gas (PNG) in Delhi till November 2. The window of the ban on construction activities has also been stretched — from 6pm-10am, instead of 6pm-6am.

The ban on the operation of coal-based units in the National Capital Region and industries in Delhi that do not use piped natural gas was lifted as the air quality improved on November 16 and is expected to get better in the next two days.

The Supreme Court had on November 4 banned construction and demolition activities in the NCR till further orders.

Hence you may confirm the present status of the ban for restoring your construction work.
