1. I had purchased a property back in 1979 along with my sister back in 1979. The property was duly registered. 2. Later on in the year 1995, my sister sold her portion of the property. 3. In the meantime, the land revenue department has our original dag number and patta number and new dag number and Patta number were issued. While I was totally unaware of this change. 4. However during this settlement of dag number and patta number and issue of new dag and patta number. Our land location got misrepresented. 5. The new dag and Patta number did not match exactly with my land location. Showing around 10 pattadar into just one tiny piece of land. 6. This problem is faced by all the joint pattadar of my dag number and patta number. 7. We approached the concerned office however no resolution was provided. 8. In the meantime, another person using this wrong Patta number tries to make a claim over my land. 9. How can I make a claim of my land and force the authorities to correct their mistake. 10. I have submitted to court my original deed which proves that I have purchased the property.

After you purchased the property jointly did you partition the property? If not then how could she sell a portion of the property because without partition a sale deed cannot be generated as no demarcation has been done.
If the property was partitioned then after partition a different no must have been issued. These issues must be solved by going through the register in tge revenue court.

Land record dose not decide title. No question to your ownership, apply through advocate for correction of records as suit. Confirm correction.
1. Apply for Govt. Survey and for Layout Plan, with the Tahsil TLR office (not private survey) with all relevant supporting documents.
2. Based on Govt. Survey Report and for Layout Plan, file Appeal for amendment into the demarcation and rights of all land holders.
3. IF above fails, THEN file Declaration Suit in local Civil Court with Survey Report and all other supporting documents, for directions to Tahsil office, to make corrections /amendment in the revenue records.
