• UPI transaction issue

I Have a did Transaction on "Phone Pe" App on 19th June 2019, 06:09 PM From My Self Account of "Vijaya Bank" to my self account of "AXIS Bank", Transaction was pending for some while, I have raised the dispute on the same day in Phone Pe & they have took the 3 working days time, after 3 days "Phone Pe" team is given a confirmation that AXIS bank is confirmed that they have received the payment, But Unfortunately due to KYC issue my AXIS Bank account is closed on the same day by branch end without any communication to me & i have got the message from AXIS bank about account closure on 20th June 2019. Then i have visited & raised my dispute on AXIS Bank with the statement from Phone Pe.

Below are the Case history which is going from past 73 Days

Axis Bank: They have provided the closure letter with the DD of RS. 0.14 & they have confirmed that not received fund of 16500/- on 19th Jun 2019 Verbally & they have redirected me to Vijaya bank for dispute closure.

Vijaya Bank: I Have submitted the Formal complaint with the supported documents which i got from the AXIS Bank & after few days Vijaya bank confirmed that Axis bank is confirmed that they have received the payment & they have given the same statement with the seal & sign of the bank staff.

Axis Bank: Again i Have a raised a dispute with the supported document from Vijaya Bank. After few days i got a call from Branch operational Head that to visit & raise a complaint in "Customer Complaint Form".

After few days i have got a call from AXIS bank operational head saying that we dont have any pending funds & ask Vijaya Bank to raise an charge back on your transaction.

Vijaya Bank: They have confirmed that they dont have any rights to raise a charge back once transaction is successful

Axis Bank: They have provided the mail copy from AXIS bank with seal & sign.

1) Narrate same issue from day one till date and make a complaints to RBI ombudsmen against both the banks. Then see how these both banks will be screwed up.


How to file online complain

You can approach the Banking Ombudsman IF

  1. You have not received a reply from your bank within one month from the date of receipt of complaint by the bank OR
  2. The bank has rejected your complaint OR
  3. You are not satisfied with bank's reply

The following is the process for lodging an online complaint with the Banking Ombudsman.

  • Visit ONLINE COMPLAINT
  • Select BO office (Banking Ombudsman). Please visit here to know BO office jurisdiction.
  • You will be asked to fill Bank name, branch name, Complaint name, Mobile no.
  • Fill up the form with necessary details and Click “SAVE”
  • After successfully submission of your application, user can upload supporting documents by clicking on upload option. Supporting document means copy of complaint, bank reply, evidence etc.

You will get acknowledgement of complaint once review is done by Ombudsman. Within 30 days from your complaint, Ombudsman will resolve the issue. They may contact you if any clarification require.

2) in alternative file complaint before consumer forum and seek orders to direct bank to pay you compensation for mental torture undergone by you. Also seek litigation costs

Dear Sir,

You have to get issue a legal notice and personally visit to the office of Ombudsman to know the status of your complaint. You can file a consumer case claiming compensation also for mental torture etc.

You should file a complaint before consumer dispute redressal forum for refund on money along with compensation in which you should make Respondent to Axis Bank Vijaya bank and Phone pe app they should resolve the dispute and refund your money.

you can file a case against the bank either in district consumer forum or directly approach the bank with the message and opt for a settlement through ombudsman.

The consumer forum will take atleast and year to resolve your claim.
