Was marriage solemnised as per  hindu rites

2) obtain marriage certificate from pandit who solemnised your marriage

3) apply for registration of your marriage with marriage registrar

4) enclose wedding invitation card , wedding photos, pandit certificate

5) contact a local lawyer

Dear

You need to apply for marriage certificate in office of marriage registrar.

Attach the affidavit stating the delay for registration of marriage.

You will be needing IDs of witnesses present at time of marriage.

Marriage photograph, one joint passport size photo of husband and wife, IDs and DOB proof of husband and wife.

You can apply at office of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate in whose jurisdiction the husband or wife resides on any working day. Fill the Application form duly signed by both husband and wife. Verification of all the documents is carried out on the date of application and a day is fixed for the appointment and communicated to the parties for registration.

Hi

You need to approach the concerned Registrar's office.  Wherein, you need to file Affidavit by giving details of your marriage and application for delay in approaching the office, and comply with the paper work as required.

Further, you need to give relevant  documents as required by the  office, after verification, your marriage will be registered and you will be given marriage certificate.

There will be slight change  from state-to-state, the procedural part will be shared in the front office of the said Registrar's office.

Good Luck

On the basis of the witnesses and by obtaining a receipt or certificate from the temple authorities, you may apply for registering your marriage with the marriage officer within the jurisdiction where the marriage is reported to have taken place.

Take the assistance of an advocate in the local to proceed properly as per procedures.
