1. apply for latest jamabandi for complete khewat, you will get all detail in a detailed manner

2. once you get jamabandi (जमाबंदी), apply for the mutation (इंतकाल) in the name of legal heirs of your grandfather, if he is expired, and, if alive, it must be on his name and apply for nishandehi (निशानदेही) of your land by making an application o the concerned tehsildaar.

3. other co-owners will be intimated at the time of demarcation

You have to make application to survey office to carry out survey of land in grand father name for demarcation of boundaries of land

2) notice would  be issued to all co owners before any survey is done

khasra does not confer title to property.

For this you shall firstly have to obtain the documents showing your title of ownership of the said properties.
There after move an application before the Tehsildar for demarcation of land of your ownership.

Dear Sir,

- You can reach out to Tehsildar along with your father or his will for transfer deed/gift deed.

- Once the gift deed is executed, do connect with Patwari of your area to update the record and officially ask him for new markation. If needed you can approach SDM of your area for the same with the application and get patwari directed through him for same.

- Before all the process, you shall be required the previous mutation certified copy from Tehsildar office along with Intkal no (Intkal no shall give you the clarity of your property and if anyone has got changed any ownership)

2. You can engage a Govt. Approved Amin/Surveyor to identify and mark your grandfather's land by c onducting the measurememnts.

3. It will be prudent on your part to ensure that all other land owners also be present at tghe time of the measurement to avoid any future dispute though it is not mandatory that others should be present while measuring your area of the land.

Hi,

The complete records related to your grand father's land will be available in the local registrar office. Then you may apply for mutation in the name of your father or your name and also get your land segregated as per law.

The land is an agricultural one and hence the tehsil would be the right place to start your search. Engage a lawyer for this. Then find out the extent of your land and if there was a partition effected in the joint family. A case has to be filed and lekhpal is needed who will along with the patwari measure the land.
