• 2nd masters for getting 55%

I have done MA in English literature in 2002 with 53%.then for PhD 50% Mark's was required.i got registered in 2003 August and was very lucky as from 2004 the Mark's became 55%.then I got my PhD provisional in 2008 dec and took convocation In 2009 July.in 2016 smriti Irani declared that PhD registration before 2009 july will be exempted from NET.I have done another MA from state government university in the same subject and got 62%.Now my question is will my second MA will be taken as a clearing bar of 55%? Then can my PhD will be accepted? Will it not be like that MA later and PhD previous? As this MA will be only for getting 55%.then I can sit for college service comission without NET.plz help.

The MA examination by which you crossed the eligibility bar has been passed by you after the phd. If the rule is same in all universities then the MA after the phd cannot he considered.

However if a state university only wants an MA irrespective of the fact whether it was prior to the phd or not....then it will not matter.

Regards

State universities rules vary and sometimes they take the degree done after the phd.

All degrees are achieved by fair means and no bar give reexamination of same faculty to raise marks. On the basis of 2nd MA, bar is released and PH.d valid for all purpose.

You are exempted from NET as you had PHD degree in 2008 on basis of your MA in English literature obtained by you in 2002

for further  clarifications  you should approach the college service commission
