• Preganancy scare

A girl claims that she is pregnant with my baby but is not ready to give me any confirmation. It has just been 9 days after we had sex and she claims she went for ultrasound and has seen the baby. Now she wants me to sign a stamp paper agreement claiming i won't leave her after she drops the baby if she will go for abortion. Is there a legal agreement as such that complies a person for relationship with another person?

No such legal agreement is valid in eyes of law. Even if you sign it doesn't have any validity

After 9 days no fetus can be detected by USG test.

It requires at least 2-3 months to know for sure that whether the lady has conceived with a baby or not.

This is nothing a ploy to blackmail you and to get documentary evidence of your sexual life so you can extorted for long.

Do not listen to her and if you do not want any relationship then severe all communications from her and inform the Police as well about her true intentions.

Having sex with a adult person with her consent is no crime .

No. Such agreement won't stand judicial scrutiny.

A girl may get get pregnant after sex but that does not mean that you have a duty towards her. Only if you promised to marry and are now refusing can you get into trouble.

How can a person know 9 days after sex? Maybe she is pregnant with some other person.

Dont write anything on the stamp paper.

This child born out of illicit relationship becomes your legitimate child. However there is no compulsion for you to continue with the relationship with your concubine after the birth of child. She may not be eligible for any compensation for the consensual sex she had with you, however she can claim maintenance for the child. This child will become entitled to your self acquired properties upon intestate death.

You will be responsible to the baby only if you are the biological father.

Only her word doesn't establish your paternity, as you are not her husband. She has to undergo DNA tests under judicial directions, to establish the paternity of the baby.

Only the DNA test would be conclusive evidence whether you are the biological father or not.

do not execute any such agreement, as the same will put you in serious criminal complications at a later stage,

confirmation within 9 days is suspicious,

you can make a police complaint against her but it can put you in trouble also,

as she can allege making of physical relations on a false promise of marriage, rape etc,

therefore,

try to settle the matter amicably

Don't enter into any AGREEMENT

Dear Sir,

No,  such agreements are not legally valid.

Being a father of illegitimate child, it is your responsibility to maintain the child by providing financial support

Whatever is done now, will impact both that girl and you. So think wisely. She will be very scared now, she will need support emotionally, mentally and physically. You ought to give her the support.

You can only be responsible if the baby is yours. You can't be responsible if you had sex with the girl but she was fu****g other guys and even she didn't know the father of the baby.

The agreement may not be valid tough, but it can be used as an evidence in case she is lodging a criminal complaint against you before the concerned police for the charges of cheating her and having sex with her on the false promise of marrying her.

So you may be careful on that aspect.

Let she prove the paternity of the baby by DNA test to claim that you are its biological father,  after which you can decide about the legitimacy of the child.

No ultrasound can confirm that a women is pregnant after 9 days only.

In all likelihood, the girl is lying to you. You should not give her anything in writing as that can be used against you in future to blackmail you.

You will be responsible for the baby if child is actually yours. He/she would be your illegitimate child.

In accordance with Hindu Marriage Act and Hindu Adoptions and Maintenance Act, 1956, a Hindu is bound during his or her lifetime to maintain his or her illegitimate children, till s/he attains the age of majority or has ceased to be a Hindu.

Dear sir

She is just making you fool baby is only visible in ultrasound after one month that too as a clot of blood. She is just black mailing you to make agreement with you.  But this legal agreement cannot force any person to stay in company of another person as every person have right to liberty.

But if she is pregnant and keep the baby then you will be responsible for maintenance of that baby if you are the biological father of the kid.
