Dear Sir,
Immediately approach police and also get issue a legal notice to him. GPA is your agent and whenever he receive any consideration on sale of property he has to pay the same to your and get acknowledgment from you. Without your acknowledgment it can not be said that amount was paid to you. You can file civil case at Hubli where you resides.
the jurisdiction in your cases the place you are living and have the KYC documents the place where the transaction took place any other place where both the parties agree
You have to issue a legal notice first. Please send it to his Mumbai address as well as to his TN address, demanding immediate payment of sale proceeds together with interest. If there is no response or no satisfactory response, you may proceed to file a suit for recovery of your lawful dues, based on the GPA. The suit has to be filed at the place where he received the sale consideration or at the place where the defendant normally resides, in consultation with your lawyer.
The legal notice can be issued by a lawyer from anywhere, and not necessarily from the places mentioned, by way of clarification.
Yes you can file legal notice through lawyer from any part of India. But you need to file recovery suit to recover the said monied from him
You can issue legal notice from either hubli Or banglore. You can file recovery suit along with interest.
1. You can send the legal notice from where you are stayiung detailing your identity and the matter.
2. You can lodgte a police complaint against him for cheatying you.
3. You can also file a recovery suit against him.
Firstly, will have to save a legal notice to him asking him to repay the entire amount within 7 days of receipt of the legal notice.
If he fails to do so, you can file a suit for recovery against him in civil court.
Period of limitation of filing a suit for recovery is 3 years, so you would have to file an application under Section 5 of the limitations act for condonation of delay would also be filed along with the petition.
Yes give a legal notice to him and file a complaint against him in case he does not pay and cancel the GPA.

Whatever address of the principal is given in the GPA shall be the place for cause of action or you may file the recovery suit at the place where the property is sold.
However please ensure that this is not barred by three years time limitation.
