• My employer blackmailing me to remove glass door ad google maps reviews

My employer hasnt given my relieving letter and salary yet it has been more than 45 days. I had served full 30 day notice period and followed all processes. The CEO humiliated me while I was employed and now he contacted me via call and whatsapp and blackmailed me to remove all reviews postedby my friends and family on glass door and google maps. Threatened to file FIR against me if I dont delete them and my salary will be only given when all reviews are removed.

Dear Client,

He cannot do any thing, neither FIR maintainable. File petition before labor commissioner for payment due and  relieving letter.

SEnd him a legal notice and tell him to relieve you and pay the salary due. If he doesn't then proceed ahead by filing a case. He cannot do anything and they are just empty threats.

See reviews are not posted by you firstly even posted by you in public forum and they are true the employer cannot take any steps. For relieving letter and full and final settlement issue legal notice to employer and if on notice they fail complaint before the labour commissioner and you need to institute to recover the salary.

You were free to post fair and honest criticism of your ex-employer on glass door and google. By doing this, you have not breached the NDA. As regards to your salary, send them a legal notice, calling upon them to release their salary forthwith.

If they do not release your salary despite the legal notice, approach NCLT against them after serving them a demand notice.

You can send them a legal notice asking for your experience letter and full & final settlement if any. In case there is not reply from their side you can file a case in civil court.

Why did you resort to such acts against him?

In fact if you still want a smooth exit with all dues to be received from them  then you may better go for a compromise with them instead of agitating over the issues and getting it stretched or delayed unnecessarily which will prove to be a futile effort as well as waste of time and energy.

Think about it and take a wise decision.

It appears that you have unnecessarily got yourself into a big problem by your comments agaisnt the CEO and the company.

Well, if you would like to fight against it with a long drawn legal battle, you may decide about it or to withdraw all your comments and go for a compromise to put an end to this burning chapter, decision is yours.

You can discuss with your advocate in the local and take a decision on this
