1) Talking on phone is not a crimecas per SITA, if you're caught in the escorts activity in any public place than you will be punished according to law.

If any person including client, escort and pimp is caught indulging in such activities then it may lead to lawful prosecution under relevant sections of Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956.

Prostitution itself is not illegal as per Indian laws.

A number of related activities including soliciting in a public place, kerb crawling, owning or managing a brothel, prostitutionin a hotel, child prostitution, pimping and pandering are illegal.

By law, escort services are illegal, if proved by the ‘prosecuting authorities’ but it happens nonetheless in the garb of carefully worded solicitation.

If any person including client, escort and pimp is caught indulging in such activities then it may lead to lawful prosecution under relevant sections of Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956.

However you have stated that you have just been messaging to the escorts and got a reply also, these activities cannot be termed as prostitution nor indulgence into it, hence you need not be worried in that aspect.

  1. As per the information mentioned in the present query, makes it clear that you are afraid, but I advice you to not to get afraid.
  2. Whatever you been doing on messages or on calls are completely your personal life.
  3. And I believe that there is nothing in the messages that may show that you have not been forcing then for anything.

If above is the case then you need not to worry about anything.

1. Yes soliciting for sex is a crime and if youa re found to have ben in touch with a sex worker preatedly then you can be booked under Immoral Traffic Act.

2. So do not indulge in such activity anymore and invest in time healthy relationship who will remain with you in thick and thins for rest of your life.

It needs to be seen as to what is the subject matter of your conversation with them.

Why do you mean to say when you say that you did not force them?

If your chat with her is vulgar and obscene and she is sharing her private pictures with you, this might be offending the IT Act and certain provisions of IPC.
