A US citizen travelling with his daughter from US through Indira Gandhi Airport is being taken into custody for carrying excess US dollar , submitted declaration. Still his only contact in India was said to pay a fine of Rs. 38500 in private account. Due to misery of the daughter, the Indian citizen paid. Next they tell the US citizen to submit all the cash to his Indian friends account and asks for paying Rs 2 lakhs towards conversion in another private account. The Indian friend challenged them and told them to give a Govt Account details. The correspondent now switched off the mobile but didnot rele6ase the US Citizen and the minor daughter. Airport and Customs being protected area, no person can reach them. What to do ? The US citizen is so afraid that he is not giving his address. The US embassy has been informed based on the names and phone number of the US citizen only.

You need to initiate action through embassy. with the help of embassy proper complaints can be launced directly through ministry level.
