The spelling of my NAME in 10th marksheet and 12th marksheets are different. And the time for correction has already passed out. Will I face any problem while applying for passport. What should I do to avoid any problems??

Sir make an affidavit of stating the spelling error and one and same person.
After affidavit publish same in two newspapers.
First find out whether or not it is mandatory for you to furnish your birth certificate.
In case yes, then see if the spelling of your name in your birth certificate and the educational certificate(I do not think so you have to give both 10th and 12th marksheet. you will be required to give one of them) matches and accordingly go ahead.

You should use name spelt in 1otyhmarkshet, same comes to use for age proof purpose.
You can write the board to issue duplicate mark sheet with name rightly spelt acc. to 10th marksheet.
And this spelling discrepancy shall be removed by submitting an affidavit that both names belongs to same person.
1. Yes, you might face problem for getting passport for which it will be prudent on your part to correct the error.
2. Execute an affidavit before he local 1st Class Judicial Magistrate affirming that youe name was mentioned in your class 10 board certificate as such and such which got changed in your class 12 board certificate as such and such where as your actual name is such and such which is required to be mentioned in all your educational and other certificates and documents incluyding passport.
3. Once you get the said affidavit affirmed, you shall have to write to the Board who has mistaken in writing your name asking for issuance of a fresh certificate with youyr correct name.
4. With the said affidavit, you will get your passport in the name mentioned in the said affidavit.
You can make affidavit in which stating speling mistake of your name by which your can make further id's
Both marksheets are not required to show anywhere,
Passport will contain the spelling what you fill up in the ap[plcation form and the document which is matching the spelling in the application form.
Howsever if you want the spelling to be rectified, you may prepare a duly notarised affidavit stating that both the names belong to you and get the same published in a local newspaper which will solve the problem.
