Recently I have contacted Gautam Modular Kitchen (GMK Interiors - Bangalore) for my kitchen work, TV unit and Puja unit. First he earn my trust by saying of quality work and shows some picture of his work, though he is charging very high but promised that he will provide BWP meretial for all the unit. As per him I have paid 50% of total amount (65k) and later when material comes I have found all are very poor quality plywood and which will not even go for 2 years. I contact back to them and reported the same and requested to change the wood. But he again asked for money and again I have provided 50K, but he is not taking my calls, He message me to contact his manager and get it done but his manager telling me contact him. it is already been a week and no work progres, I have to vacate the rent house but can not even move to my new house. kindly guide how I can Cancel this and get my money back.
1) issue legal notice to GMK interior regarding poor quality of materials supplied for carrying iout interior work
2) mention that it was agreed in contract that you would use plywood of high quality and work would be completed within X period
3) call upon him to complete work within period stipulated in contract or refund your money with interest
Dear sir file a consumer complaint for deficiency of services in the consumer court and claim damages litigation fees and refund along with interest.
First serve the company with a legal notice stating all the facts and ask them to cancel due to there deficiency and refund all.amount along with the notice charge.
If they fail to act on notice within 15 days file a.comsumer complaint before district consumer forum
Hello,
Immediately send a legal notice to the Gautam Modular Kitchen and ask him to refund the money within 14 days.
If he fails to do so then you will have to file a case in the District Consumer Forum for deficiency of services.

If u have documentary proof ( contract or pamphlet ) of assured materiel to be used than file for consumer Complain for using poor materiel than promised.
In the given situation, owing to your urgency, you may make a personal visit to his office and urge him to undertake the work at war footing and also to replace the bad quality material with good ones.
If you dont get any response or if the situation is not changed , then you immediately issue a legal notice communicating that you have cancelled the agreement for the reasons you rely upon and demand him to refund the advance amount received by him with interest since he has breached the contract and violated the conditions.
After that you can plan to drag him to the consumer forum.
1. File Grievance Petition before the local Consumer Court and claim refund + compensation + damages from the opposite party, for the physical and mental trauma caused by him.
2. ALSO file criminal case of cheating & intimidation against the opposite party.
