Respected sirs, Please clarify whether an Overseas Citizen of India [OCI] hold a position in the Executive Committee of a Society promoting sports activities? Thanks in advance.

There's no bar. An OCI can hold a position in the Executive Committee of a Society regietered under the Society Registration Act, 1860.
1. Yes, OCI can buy properties, carry on business activities in India like any other Indian Citizen.
2. In the same way, an OCI can hold a position in the Executive Committee of a Society promoting sports activities.
If there is no such clause in the bye laws adopted by society that only Indian national can be member of MC then OCI can be elected to the MC of the society
The society of a flat owners is a private entity which is already governed by its own Bye Laws.
However the Bye Laws are amenable to judicial review
Unless the law of the land a person holding OCI card is not disentitled to stand as office bearers of a society.
So the decisison of the society making you ineligible for the same can be challenged in the court of law.
If the said OCI is a member of that society and if the society selected or elected him as an EC member then there is no legal impediment in it
