There's no bar. An OCI can hold a position in the Executive Committee of a Society regietered under the Society Registration Act, 1860.

The society of a flat owners is a private entity which is already governed by its own Bye Laws.

However the Bye Laws are amenable to judicial review

Unless the law of the land a person holding OCI card is not disentitled to stand as office bearers of a society.

So the decisison of the society making you ineligible for the same can be challenged in the court of law.
