Name in the birth certificate and the name in the admission register of school are very important.

The name in the 10th certificate has the same as that in the birth certificate, and then you should correct the name in the 12th certificate. if the name in the 12th certificate is the same as that in the birth certificate then no problem will be created as you will be seeking admission to the college on the basis of the 12th class certificate.File and application before the Education board.

1) you have to apply to the education board to change the name in your xii std certificate

2) if board refuses obtain court orders to direct board to change name in your certificate

You will certainly face problems not only in higher education but also while seeking employment in any governmental organisation becasue both appear to be different names.

You may get a notarised affidavit stating that both the names are one and the same and you are known by both the names, the difference in the name in different certificates was due to oversight.

This would enable you to tide over the problems

Whenever there is a glaring difference it will certainly attract sore eyes of authority concerned.

Hence instead of debating on future issues it would be better that you take precautionary measures in advance by making an affidavit as suggested in my previous post.
