• Ex boyfriend forcing girl to marry him

I got engaged to a girl recently, everything was good. But next day i got a call from a guy who had a past 9 year relationship with this girl. He met me later and showed all photos of him and her together and he said we both have court marriage. Later on i enquired with girl and she said she knew the guy but never married him but told that guy carries just an affiadavit or notarial certificate of marriage, she said she was afraid to tell me as guy had political hand. The girl is not interested to marry this guy. But the guy is creating problem for her and for me about our future. Girl has filed an f.i.r but as guy has a political hand. Police is not taking strong action. I have couple of questions please help and answer them:-

-What shall we do to ensure happy and safe life ahead so the guy doesnt create any problem in future?
-I would like to share the legal document which that guy has shared with me in photographs, how to do that in this forum?
-The girl is claiming that guy forced to sign a legal document which she signed after he forced her a lot. Can i trust the girl for marriage?
-If case is forwarded to court will it be solved there? Won't that guy create problems in girl's future marriage?
-What if guy arranges good advocate to win case for him or what if guy doesnt appear on court?

1. if the guy was not married with her then there is no legal issue involved.

2.On the contrary you can file criminal case out of his attempt to disrupt your marriage.

3.Such certificate has no legal value since it is not a marriage certificate.

4.Do not worry as since this is not a marriage certificate he can do nothing.

It is improbable to go like that, just a case you can send a letter with regards to this to the SP SSP and the police station.

1) court cases take years to be disposed of

2) better call of the marriage

3) in the alternative engage detective agency to find out the truth and then take a call whether to proceed with marriage or not

4) merely because guy knows MLA does not mean he can take law into his hands and murder you and your fiancee

What shall we do to ensure happy and safe life ahead so the guy doesnt create any problem in future?

If you feel that this person is torturing your fiancee and compels her to marry him against her wishes, you take her to the top police officer's office, narrate the incidences, give a complaint in writing agaisnt him, explain the police officer that you are soon getting married hence to give protection from this guy as he poses threat to your peaceful marriage and the life thereon.

This would make sure that he wont interfere in future too.

-I would like to share the legal document which that guy has shared with me in photographs, how to do that in this forum?

No way.

You can fix a consultation with any expert laywer of this forum, on getting their personal detail, you can engage their services for scrutiny of the documents

-The girl is claiming that guy forced to sign a legal document which she signed after he forced her a lot. Can i trust the girl for marriage?

You have to first get that legal document and see what it is about

You can decide to rust the girl after ascertaining the fact of the document referred.

-If case is forwarded to court will it be solved there? Won't that guy create problems in girl's future marriage?

Who will take up this mater to the court and on what basis or case?

-What if guy arranges good advocate to win case for him or what if guy doesnt appear on court?

Where is the case and who will go to the court, when nothing happened so far, why do you stretch the imaginary up to court and its disposal

Let it first develop and you can decide after that.

Currently I am tensed about what may be probable action of the guy after girl accuses him to court. Wouldn't it be like the guy would go ahead to take revenge to spoil my marriage with the girl? As per couple of people said if he can go to this extend then he can also attempt to murder me or my spouse post marriage as he is not well educated and knows MLA of that district well. What steps need to be taken to ensure happy married life without any worries? Will this matter go in girl's favor infront of judge in court of law? Any suggestions or thoughts?

If you are so much frightened about that guy then you may have to approach the higher police officer of yor district with the complaint.

Seek his intervention and remedial action.

You cannot go to court directly without approaching police first and exhaust the remedies available locally.
