I married a women divorcee and after divorce he also died having baby girl , when she was age of 7yrs of age , after her my wife given birth to a baby girl now she is studying in same school LKG, they both very happy with us and we are happy with both the daughters, we do not show any difference as of now I also almost forgot that she is not born for me, Problem is studying 9 in ICSE board and they said what ever the father name in certificate will record same with board. We do not want that because now difference will start if father names shows different in the records. My elder daughter also should carry my name as legal father. My wife and mysekf requested school HM to change but she insist to get legal documents on this. Pls guide me or advise on this

Deedof adoption can be executed by biological mother in your favour
2) deed of adoption should be registered
3) on the basis of adoption deed apply for change name of father in adopted daughter certificates
4) Registrar is empowered to enter name of adopted parents , address etc in the birth records in form prescribed
1,The name f the father from the birth certificate cannot be changed anymore.
2.Do not change the name of her biological father in subsequent documents alsos as the same may lead to confusion.
3.Your lover and compassion for the child is enough for her proper upbringing.Mere change of name of her biological would bring nothing except anomaly in her educational records leading to unnecessary complications.

You are only a step father of the child and not the biological father so that you can request for change of name of father.
If you desire to change the name of the father in the birth certificate you may have to adopt the child and get the adoption registered and declared by a court order based ion which you can apply for change of name of father in the birth certificate.
Before that you ensure the eligibility conditions for adoption since you have already another girl child and this one is elder to your biological daughter.
