On grandmother death apply for legal heir certificate

2) you and your mother names would be mentioned as legal heirs only

3) at time of obtaining legal heir certificate for father your grandmother was alive and hence her name was rightly reflected in legal heir certificate

After the demise of your grandmother her share has devolved on you to the exclusion of your mother, so you should apply for fresh mutation in the office of tehsildar.

The heirs of your grandmother are her daughters and children of pre-deceased son i,e you. In your previous query you did not mention that your grandmother had daughters too.

It is not necessary to remove her name from the legal heirship certificate upon her death. The name shall automatically stand deleted by making a mention about her death and attaching her death certificate with the certificate.
