It is beyond imagination that a divorce case can drag on for 8 years. At which stage is the case now? Was there any halt in the divorce case due to any transfer application being filed by you?

I am very upset. It was an arranged marriage. Within 2 days he told me that he was forced by his parents to get married and he loved someone else. He asked for divorce. I stayed there hoping things will get ok but he started torturing me emotionally and then physically. He then applied for divorce. Divorce case is going on since last 8 years. How much more time will it take. I am depressed and need justice.

Yes it was transferred. That process took around 8 months in supreme court. Currently it is in last stage as per advocate but he is saying same since more than a year.. every time we are getting a new date in some or other context. Now on the day the final verdict was about to come, we were told that now new family court is separated and all divorce cases will be transferred there. Again a new judge will be there... and he/she has asked both the parties to come again... i am very upset, depressed. My parents are not well and are heart patients... such delay in justice is taking a toll on there health... i don't know what to do... I don't know how much more time will it take... Why am i being subjected to all this... its not my fault if judges are being changed... y am i being subjected to this mantle torture... i am wondering will i ever get justice... when its process itself is giving me such mantle torture... is there any end to it?
