Dear client,

In cases of misbranding due to the absence of an expiry date or use by date on a food product, penalties can vary. They might include warnings, fines, product recalls, or legal action against the manufacturer or distributor. The severity of the penalty can depend on the specific circumstances, the frequency of the violation, and the regulations of the region where the violation occurred. the penalties for violations of the Food Safety and Standards Act, including misbranding due to the absence of an expiry date or use by date can vary from case to case.  Penalties are often subject to the discretion of the Food Safety Officer and may include fines or other regulatory actions.
