Law for landlord to produce tax receipts
Type your question here. Is there a law stated anywhere that says the landlord has to produce his building tax receipts to the tenant when asked? Can he be obligated to give a copy of the same and allow the tenant to make use of it as per his wish? Does the landlord have no rights to deny such request?

Thank you Mr. Sethi. The scenario here is more to do with tenant wanting to have the tax receipt to procure a license to run a pharmacy in my premises. I wish to learn from you that is there a law that enforces the landlord to produce it for such request?

it is a request matter . if as landlord you have given premises on rent for commercial purposes it is in your interest to furnish xerox copy of tax receipts . if you refuse to furnish and tenant would be unable to carry on business he would terminate the agreement .
