• Follow-up question of Tamil Nadu Pottery & toys manufacturer society land

Dear sir,
we belongs to Kulalar community ( pottery, clay & paper toys manufacturers ) comes under MBC quota. We are situated in cuddalore, Tamil Nadu. Government has developed many area wise society for pottery & toys manufacturers. In our area, there is one society but it is not functional ( recently built, number - 1742). Since long time, we used to worship our community Goddess Sivakami in that place for our community & business development. Now we want to build one temple in that place. My question is
 * Can we able to purchase that land from government for our community goddess temple?
 * Is there any way to form one trust in the name of our community goddess and purchase that government land in the name of our trust?
 * what is the way forward to purchase land and build temple in that place?

I got multiple positive reply from lawyers for above mentioned question. My next question is as follows:

As per your reply, can I assume that government society land can be purchased in the name of trust? Please try to answer my following questions in simple way. My question is

1. Is there any govt. rule restriction to purchase that society land in individual or trust name?
2. If we want to purchase that society land in individual or trust name, how to approach in systematic way?

Please tell me step-wise way ( i.e,municipality commissioner, society director, etc) because govt organisation is big chain.

Please do needful.

No purchase but on lease and better apply for allotment of land for construction of temple. Allotment is more better. Govt. will not sold the land but for beneficial and religious cause may allot. Meet the concern minister.

Since long time, we used to worship our community Goddess Sivakami in that place for our community & business development -- Is the temple still exits there ?

1. First form a trust, it may be a religious trust or charitable trust and after that the trust members in a meeting can decide and resolve to buy the desired land for constructing the proposed temple.

2. You can buy it in the name of the trust only after forming a trust and not in the individual's name.

You can contact a local advocate who is specifically dealing with such cases, who may help and guide you properly
