Gst credit paid on purchase of car cannot be claimed, unless you are in the business of buying selling cars and/or travel business.

If you are into above , Service bill valid proof of gst paid and Gst no. cannot be disputed even if misprint on bill.

- As per law,, it is mandatory to have GST Number on the Bill , if the Seller/Dealer is charging GST on the billing amount.

- Further, without GST number , A Sellers is not eligible to charge GST from the customer.

- Since you have paid the GST amount at the time of purchasing of said Car, hence you have right to ask for GST bill and to take the refund of the said paid amount as well.

- You should issue a demand notice to the said Dealer for the refund of the GST amount paid by you , and on refusal , you should  lodge your complaint against him with Rajasthan GST counsil or even on the government official website : http://www.gst.gov.in  as well.

Good luck and dont forget to rating Positively.

Claim a revised bill from the seller clearly mentioning the GST registration No.

It is the duty of the seller to deposit the tax. If you doubt seller has not deposited the tax you may inform the GST authorities.

If seller do not give you the Tax invoice, bring it into the notice of the tax authorities.

Or you can file complaint to consumer forum seeking direction to give you the proper tax invoice.

Dear Sir,

The government has made buying homes easier by slashing the Goods and Services Tax (GST) tax on under-construction properties. Rates have been cut from 8% to 1% for affordable homes and from 12% to 5% for regular units

If flats are booked before April 1but cancelled, the tax paid can be adjusted against any other GST liability, including the 1% or 5% rates outgo.  The taxman has asked builders to choose before May 10 the new goods & services tax (GST) rate for ongoing realty projects

If the GST was collected at the time of purchase you may write to the dealer to furnish the details of the GST paid by you and the remittance details.

You can approach the GST authorities with a complaint about this if the dealer fails to furnish the desired details  who will take care of the issue

You should send a notice to dealer for providing you bill with GST no. If he refuse to provide you the bill.

Approach GST authorities with complaint against dealer that he have charged the bill but dont provide you bill with GST no. And he may have evade the GST on the car.
