1) If it's commercial building than they have to go permission as your business doesn't disturb to any one in the society.
2) You can take permission from Municipal Corporation, Police Commissioner, Company Registrar and Society Registrar etc.

You would need society permission to keep shop open till late at night
2) if society refuses you cannot keep shop late at night
3) you can show them permission obtained from Police
Yes. You can run your business late night.
Company Registrar is one who gives permission to run the business.
Society Registrar is one who appointed by state government under MCS Act to look after registered society any problems or to resolve problems etc.
What should I do if I take permission from area police station even if they have any objection?
Police station is different authority and your building comes under registered society authority that is called Registrar.
And to run your business for this you have to take licence copy from Municipal Corporation Authority plus to run your business depending upon staffing of the employees you need to take certificate of incorporation under Company's Act that will be Company Registrar authority.
If society is refusing to permit you to keep office beyond 11pm then you should close office at 11pm as there is only difference of 45 mins in timings you desire to keep shop open
Building society can't deny it's permission to you yo keep your office open until 11.45 pm as long as you've the permission from the local bodies.
In case the building society denies it's permission to you despite you having permission from the Govt., file a writ petition against the Building society..
This is my response to you:
1. You will firstly need to read through the bye-laws of the society that you live in;
2. If the bye-laws require you to submit a form then do that accordingly;
3. If they reject your application then appeal to the Registrar of societies;
4. Next step is to request the police to assist you;
5. If they do not then the MCGM should come to your aid;
6. Consult a local lawyer and take legal steps.
It is your own shop and your own business, hence there is no need to obtain anyone's permission to keep it open till the time you finish your job provided the shop is in independent place .
Whereas your shop is within the society, therefore you have to abide by the bye laws of the society in this regard.
You can obtain permission from society, if they refuse to give permission, you may file an application to the local civic body seeking its permission.
If you dont get any respite from any authority then you may have to approach court of law seeking relief and permanent remedy to this.

Company registrar means the Registrar of companies, and the cooperative registrar is where the society is registered.
If the society is not allowing you to keep the shop open till the time you wanted it to be opened without disturbing others, you may approach the local civic body for permission to run your shop till the time you would required it to be opened.
