• Does grandson has legal right over grandfather's property?

Background story: My grand father has 4 son's and 2 house, he equally shared the house to each son, eg (each house ground floor belongs to one son and the rest of the floor belongs to another son) like this he splited 2 house. 2 of his son sold one whole house and another son sold half the portion of another house. Now, what is remaining is the ground floor of one house which belongs to one of his son who is my father.

My grandfather passed away 5 years back and my father completed all the procedures to legally transfer the house to his name, Now the house is under his name as the owner of the property and he has all the documents for the house.

Now, i no longer stay with my father and we are living in a separate place. Now he wants to sell the house by himself without my consent and want to settle in a different place with all the money.

What should i do in this situation, how should i handle it, do i still have legal right to the house?.
I dont want that he sells the property at all, but he doesn't listen to me and he wants to sell the house and take the money for himself.

you have no share in the inherited house during your father lifetime

2) your father is at liberty to sell the house

3) if your father dies intestate you would inherit the house as one of the legal heirs

4) it is not ancestral property .

Your father is the absolute owner of this property which he inherited from his father.

He is having marketable title

He has full rights to dispose the property in any manner and to anyone of his choice.

He need not take anybody's permission or consent to sell the property which now stands absolutely on his name alone.

You cannot object to this as you have no rights in it in any manner
