Confusion in printed name
Hi All,
I have confusion over my name the way it is and the way it is printed in school documents. My name is 'Harender Oraon' and Father's name is 'Banarasi Oraon'. But since I have did schooling from Maharastra state board and my name appears in 10th school documents as 'Oraon Harender Banarsi'. Now the confusion begins here when I applied for college admission in other state (say Jharkhand) I mentioned my name as 'Harender Oraon' in all application forms but for proof I have different name in school documents. So please advice how to address this. Also what should I keep my name in documents like passport, PAN card, Aadhar card etc.
Also if I keep my printed name 'Oraon Harender Banarasi' in future for job etc, then mostly people tend to skip middle name and in that case my actual name (Harender) will loose its identity.
Please suggest.
Thanks,

Hi Mr Sethi,
Thanks for your prompt response. Actual situation is more tricky now. Actual while applying for college I have mentioned my printed name (Oraon Harender Banarasi) since college was denying to take admission due to discrepancy in certificate name and name in application form. So at that time I was bound to put my printed name. I tried to explain them that this is how it works in Maharashtra but nobody was aware of this so nobody accepted. Now
1) All my education certificates (graduate and post graduate) have name as 'Oraon Harender Banarasi'.
2) AAdhar Card as 'Oraon Harender Banarasi'.
3) PAN card and passport with the name 'Harender Oraon' as passport explicitly asks for First Name and Surname while applying for the same.
Please suggest if with this I might get into some legal trouble in future. Also suggest how I can keep everything in sync and I want to keep my name as 'Harender Oraon' to avoid any dispute in future.
Thanks and regards,
Harender Oraon
