I have bought a 2016 model bmw car last month on a discount and paid the roadtax on the discounted price as in the invoice through the dealer but now the rto is demanding I pay for the present exshowroom price which means I pay tax for money which I have not spend. Pls clarify

You can refuse to pay the extra road tax. The tax is applicable as per the invoice purchase amount only. The RTO cannot demand extra money at his whims and fancies. Ask him to demand the same in writing quoting the relevant rules in this regard, which can be challenged in the court of law accordingly.
