• Power connection through our passage

Our neighbor demolished the old house he got as a result of partition and reconstructed...in the process the power connection for house behind his building had been given through our passage. Upon asking he is saying he will mount it on his wall through the pipe...he had not left any offset and had built his wall right on the compound. Can he take the part connection attaching to the wall (facing our property)..since wall is the end of his property..can we say that wire is in our property?

Being neighbor and there is an apprehension of imminent danger due to the live wire passing over your property, you may record your objection by giving a letter to the electricity authorities, if they do not pay heed to your request or do not change the line to a different side without bothering you or your property, you may plan to issue a legal notice to both the neighbor and the electricity supply authority, followed by you can file a mandatory injunction suit restraining the authority to fix the wires passing through your property.

As per the plan, since its a small plot (15 Ft X 26 Ft), there is no offset for their wall. But considering the same situation if I plan to build with no offset (on one side), there will be wall to wall right? in that case what will happen to the pipe (with wire) on neighbor's wall?

To avoid the future problems and to have a permanent solution now itself, you can initiate proper legal action by filing an injunction suit as suggested earlier.

Consult a local advocate and initiate necessary legal action as per law if you want to have permanent relief from such nuisances.
