Did you sign any bond that in the event you leave the organisation within a period of X years you would. Reimburse expenses incurred for your training?

You worked for period of one year after training

The policy should have been communicated to all employees and employees should have duly accepted the same

Complany would seek to stop your full and final settlement if you did not work for one year after training

In case company goes to court it would have to prove Rs1.50 lakhs spent on your training

If you have received notice in writing about this payment, you may give a reply denying this condition.

You can very well inform that there was o such contract or condition on this earlier and this has been now created for the purpose of harassing or torturing you.

The company cannot give any adverse report during background verification especially based on this illegal demand.

If the company is not settling your dues then you may approach court for recovery through due process of law.

Policy have different clause which permit them to do so. But is it legal to them to have this money or tenure with only policy without bond? I am on another company payroll so does there policy still applies to me? Does they have rights to stop my full final without my approval? Is there any chances I can get out of this without paying anything and proper exi

Whether the company's policy was set out as terms and conditions of the company in the employment offer letter.

Even then the amount claimed is exorbitant due to passage of a good time between the completion of training and yor resignation.

You may first issue legal notice to the company demanding your dues, if they fail to respond or do not comply then you may file a recovery suit before the civil court.
