Is your father in govt service ?kindly clarify

2) for govt servants OBC-NC for government employee is decided by status in the job not income.

3)Excluding all Class I employees and direct recruits of Class II cadre, all other govt. servants having income greater than 6 lakhs are still eligible for the OBC non creamy layer certificates

3) Rs 6 lakh criterion thus applies only for business class not for salaried govt employees

1. Yes ,you do come under creamy layer.

2. So the authority is not bound to give you the certificate.

3. So apply for the General Category candidate unless and until the Government increases the same.

You fall under OBC NL as your parents are class 3 employees

2) For Central or State Government officers- If

(i) parents, either of whom is a direct Class I officer or

(ii) parents, both of whom are direct Class II officers or

(iii) parents of whom only the father is a direct Class II officer and he gets into Class I at the age of 40 or earlier

then the children are creamy layer.

The ward of a clerk and the teacher do not come under creamy layer.

The income is not the criteria for deciding the creamy or non creamy layer.

The class of employee is considered for determining the creamy layer or not.

In central government case salary is not considered... But is it the same in Karnataka case.... If authority is not giving me caste certificate whom to consult officially. Is there any separate state backward commission... Please let me know. In the websites I saw there is no mention about this anywhere...please tell me precisely ... And give me proof if I come under Inc non creamy layer

The rule that the salary income is not considered for determining the NCL is the same for the states too.

some say i don't come non creamy layer and some say i do come under obc as my father and mother are still group c employees... ... Please give me clarity.. and if possible give me authentic proof as we don't find any website or any circular of state government giving clarity on income of obc back.

It is clear from yor statement that neither your father nor yor mother is a class I employee of the government, hence their salary income is not a criteria to determine you NCL status.

Their employment status shall decide and determine the NCL and as per that you are eligible or the privileges available for NCL candidates.
