After 1 year of separation from my husband i filed a divorce against him. Court ordered me to brings my assets left at his home. I bought all my goods including those he and his family gifted me in marriage as they are my streedhan as court told me. Can they claim it back? Now they are taking unnecessary time for producing at court. I work in state bank of india. Can i claim compensation from him and if yes how much. Reason of my separation his family over dominance and over interfering in our lives which led to fights and i was always alienated by them as i don't work according to their dictation.
