Property damage by builder

There is a construction work going on in my adjoining house from last 2 years, since May 2022. Side wall of both the houses are joined. During construction process our house has suffered severe damages, like cracks in house walls, seepage of water from side walls and damage to interior paid and pop. They used heavy drill machines and hammers to dismantle the old house resulting in heavy vibration and jolt to our house. I have informed the Builder about this problem already. Initially they assured me that they will repair and paint our house in due course. After denying several times, I lodged a complaint at Guwahati Metropolitical Development Authority (GMDA) and after receiving the said complaint, the officials of the GMDA has inspected several times of the said construction site and found the totally guilty of the builder and subsequently the GMDA has issued a letter to the owner of the land where it was clearly instructed the party that “to stop construction work & Show Cause Notice under Section 87 & 88 of the GMDA Act, 1985. Sir, due the fault of the builder party, we are living in our house with uncertainty life. Due to the major damages in the foundation of our pucca house and its wall, boundary wall, drain etc., our boundary wall along with the drain will be felt down at any moment and then any unavoidable situation will be arisen.
