Property lease and cheque bouncing case

Good day, I had lease a hotel property in manali. I paid 12 Lacs at the time of agreement on the 7th or March. The owner of the property kept receiving cash and payments from online travel agency into his account which should have gone into my account. He also took cash from me amounting a total of three Lacs and Fifty thousand approximately. I also paid the bar license fee of one Lacs thirty thousand. He has physically assaulted me 3 times and a general diary was made in the Manali police station. He requested a compromise and we had a compromise thinking he did it under the influence of alcohol. There is a copy of MLC but I have written I Don want to pursue the case and there is a compromise on MLC in the police station. After this the owner called me and said that I have lied about the stabbing and if he wanted to stab me he stabs in the neck and not in the stomach. Now he is put the advance cheques that were not dated and had them bounced. He wrote me an email and told me since I have defaulted in payments the agreement is null and void and he will file a case of cheque bouncing against me. What are my options. Kindly help. Regards
