👉In 2016, a complaint of sexual harassment was made against a central Government teacher by the father of a girl, after which the employee was suspended on the basis of the report the report of prelimanry inquiry. 👉An FIR was launged by the parents of the girl in the police station under the POCSO Act, the employee was arrested and sent to jail. 👉 The employee remained in jail for 3 months and during this time the employee was acquitted of all the charges by the court. 👉The employee remained suspended for one year but after that he was reinstated to the job in condition that the departmental enquiry will be conducted on the same matter and again on the basis of verbal submissions by the parents of the girl, the employee was chargesheeted under CCA CCA rule 14. Though the court has been equitted him of all charges. 👉The inquiry continued for 7 years and during the enquiry, the employee was neither promoted nor given senior scale nor allowed to appear in the examination for higher posts in the department. 👉The departmental enquiry completed after 7 years, and the disciplinary authority has given the punishment of censure for one year, while the court has already been acquitted in the same case.
