Can i proceed to sale the property to any other person?

Hello! We made a sale of agreement for my land with one buyer.It was started with the few disputes as my friend was the one who forced me to sale to this person so we made 45 days of sale agreement where the buyer buying the property by taking loan and i have been given 10 Lakhs in advance. On 35th day of the sale deed buyer asked for the cancelled cheque where I was not having it and took 10 days to arrange it later when i have informed buyer about the cancelled cheque is ready and u can take it dispite of sale deed expiry then the buyer has not responded and took time for a while stating as bank holidays etc etc., So as now we realised that the buyer is just making us pass the time and extending the process so i now decided to cancel the agreement as i am not ready for this delay even after sale deed expiry.We have sent a legal notice to the buyer stating as the sale deed got expired and we are not proceeding further on this property sale but the buyer has not took the notice stating as he doesnot stay in that place so far. Now the buyer has started harassing me to provide required documents and will proceed further for the registration but I am not ready for that and I informed her as i will sale the land to some other and will pay you back the advance by cutting my charges once i sale the land to some other as even i want to sale the property as soon as possible as i want to make my daughters marriage immediately but the buyer asking for interest on advance amount incase of cancellation. *So now can i file a lawsuit for cancellation without buyer help or involvement? As the buyer do not support me here to cancel the sale deed.... *Can i sale my property to other person now as the previous sale deed got expired in that point? Please help me to get any answer for these questions. Thanks.
