Can I reject the job offer letter after joining for 1 day?

I have applied for a job and the employer had interviewed me. After selection they mailed me the offer as CTC and position and told me to collect the offer letter on the day of joining. The working location was approx. 200KMS away from my residence. So was little bit difficult to find proper residence or rent house to live. Somehow i managed to give it a try and reached the employer city before 2 days in search of PG or Rent house. After 2 days of digging i couldn't find any suitable PG for me in nearest working area. Other rent houses were 10-20KMS away from working place. After 2 days It was joining date. I got there, the HR gave me hard copy of joining letter and requested for hard copy of my all documents. Coincidencely the first day of my job was the last day of the week. And the offer letter had expiry of 24Hrs. So i couldn't take it to home. I read the terms and conditions. There were no bonds or any contracts in the letter but there was 2 things that scares me. That was 1. Notice period for resigning was 60 days and probation period was 90days. I signed the letter and she promised to provide the appointment letter by monday. Because of the first day of joining they provided me my system, new mail, all working credentials, punching card as well as enrolled fingerprint for attendance. After thr first day of the job, I again looked for residence and found no luck there. The nearby PG was not right for me to stay and for the rent houses, there was far away from location and rent was also higher then i expected. After final calculation I got in hand salary was less than half of the total salary. ie. 35k was gross salary. after deduction in PF and all was around 31k in hand. Rent was about 7000, Food and other living was around 8000-9000, transportation was 3000. So i thought i will not survive much time in here. Because of the residence issue i have to live in hotel for temporary and was about 1200 per day. Now i think i should refuse the offer letter. Is that any legal law if i join the job for a day and leave it after? Can the company sue me?
