What are my rights to the inheritance.

My mother died 10 years back. My father and brother were alive and living in my father and mother's joint property alone. My brother was not very gainfully employed and was barely earning to sustain. He married 3 years back to a divorcee. I had supported both financially (when needed) and emotionally the family for the past decade. During April 2021, both of them died. My brother died first of COVID and was hospitalised for few days. His expenses were borne by an medical insurance purchased by me. My father died later after few days of COVID. Again his medical cover was through my corporate cover. During the past few years on my advice, my father had transferred 50% of cash property to my brother and rest were kept with him. The nominees were either my brother or my father (incase of the transferred cash). Now the problem is my sister in law brother is negotiating for the fixed property. He wants to put a clause on the property i..e the house that my sister in law can be in possession and occupation of the property. While I do not see any issue here, the problem seems to be exclusion of my name which probably is signing off my rights to property though I am an equal inheritor of the property. There seems to be an intent issue here to deprive me of my rights to enjoy the property share. I was willing to withdraw my rights to the house provided my mother's jewels (whom my sister in law has not even met) to be given to me on emotional grounds. This is not acceptable to them. The value of the jewels in monetary terms is far less that the property value. What is the course of action that is available under the law and why should i be answerable to a third party for the division.
