Landlord reducing security deposit

Hi I lived in a rented property for 9 months in a 15 year old row house. My landlord had given a 45 day notice asking me to vacate. However, withn 2 weeks of the notice I had to vacate on an emergency basis due to severe water seepage in all rooms in monsoons and the house emanating smell. I was also worried that the electrical equipment inside the walls can result in short circuit. I informed the landlord and moved out to temporary accomodation in a hotel and found another house in a week’s time. My landlord resides outside of India hence I also got the water seepage fixed by a local contractor to prevent further seepage after taking consent of my landlord. The property was under my possession for 7 days over and above the rent period for which I calculated on a prorata basis and compensated my landlord. Now my landlord is asking me to pay the below charges. 1. Additional 15 days of rent as I did not give a 30 day notice 2. Painting charges 3. Deep cleaning charges Rent agreement does not have any clause on painting charges. It states that I maintain the house in existing condition and damage if any will have to be repaired by me subject to normal wear and tear. Wanted to understand if I am liable to pay the additional 15 days rent and painting / deep cleaning charges as I had to leave on emergency and had to go through all trauma of finding a house within a week
