Is it possible to reregister a marriage?

I and my husband both are hindus but got married by two customs. I belong to Punjabi hindu community and husband belong to bengali hindu community. We got married in Gurudwara first ( according to my family's customary rites as we are not sikhs but hindus who follow gurudwara customs in major events) and later but same day got married by bengali rituals. Our marriage is also registered in Haryana under marriage act 2008 after presenting all the proofs of both types of marriages and completing all the procedures. But the place of marriage on certificate is only gurudwara, cz we could not right two address.. Now I presented this marriage certificate along with photographs of both customs to German Embassy but they said that our marriage is not valid and I have to present a new marriage certificate to them, for the marriage that happened according to hindu customs (Basically, the place of marriage is the issue for them). To clarify everything, I submitted a affidavit that I got married by two customs. I also gave them proof that our family has been following sikh traditional marriage customs since ages by giving them certificate by community head (Baba Banda Bhadur sikh Sampradaye). I have shown them certificate and adhaar card copy of Bengali priest also. Still they are adamant on their demand that I should reregister my marriage according to Hindu law. As I understand, My marriage is valid according to section 7.1 of HMA 1955. Also according to section 8, It has been registered my state. Infact marriage registrar has also refused to change the issued certificate. What do I do? Please help
