Mutual consent divorce .
I got married in 1994 . By the year 2018 , our marriage had disintegrated .
Since our only daughter was involved , we decided to formalise a dejure / defacto separation , sanctified on a legal document , and registered with a New Delhi lower court .
We are living in the same house, but leading a separate life ( eating , sleeping , working , socialising ) which in my opinion is sufficient to constitute a de facto separartion .
My query is :-
(a) How will this de facto / dejure arrangement , sanctified on paper and complied with on ground, by both parties wield its influence , on our shared quest for an amicable divorce , through mutual consent?
(b) What preparatory legal formalities ,
are to be abided by both parties for initiation of the mutual consent process ?
(C) What are the personal pitfalls and idiosyncaricies , that individual parties must shun , to facilitate a smooth sailing of the amicable separation that is being legally sought for?
I thank you for providing me an opportunity , to pour my heart out to you .
God bless and stay safe .
