Non payment of premium by autodebit by citi bank to new india assurance policy lapsed.

Last 20 years my health insurance policy from new India assurance has been paid by Citi bank,Chennai .now this pandemic period due to failure on the part of Citi Bank to make auto-debit from credit card a/c the policy has lapsed by exposing 3 senior citizens without any insurance cover. we have sent so many mails but the Citi bank comes with the defence minimum credit limit is not fixed as per RBI guidelines. Which, they have never communicated to us. In spite of our repeated requests to Arjun Chowdry, the Country Head for Citi Bank, India and the Principal Nodal Officer Dhanajeyan etc not even care to reply our request to make the payment to the policy and keep it alive especially during this pandemic period. It is pertinent to note that the premium amount direct payment is not accepted by the New India Assurance the payment should be made only through CITI BANK CREDIT CARD ONLY. Which itself appears against the competition commission Act. I seek your guidance in this issue. Ganesan Shanmugam
