Dear Krishnaprasad, Your legal query will be answered soon. Click here to download our LawRato App to get instant notifications. This is a confirmation that your Query ID 145463 has been received by us: Property which I'm going to purchase from the current owner had purchased (previous purchase) it from legal heir (only one) of deceased owner. Name of the owner (deceased) is Easwari. Whereas while legal heir (only one)sold the property(2009), he produced legal heir and death certificate which has name of the deceased mother has Neetha Dinakaran Easwari. There is no name change certificate attached during previous deed registration. As I'm going to purchase now, I want to make sure that property is free of encumberance. My queries are 1. How to clear this issue with different names without name change certificate. 2. Legal heir(only one) sold this property in 2009. At that time, his child was minor and he did not produce succession certificate/letter of administration. But only produced legal heir certificate. Is this ok? Or any chances that grand child now can claim on his grand mother property. Deceased owner religion is Christianity.
