Requirements for Grant of Letters of Administration by Mumbai High Court

Dear Sir, My query relates to - Will the Mumbai High Court Grant Letters of Administration if the estate comprises only movable assets? I am a Nepali citizen, writing from Darjeeling. My late parents had some shares of Indian companies purchased when they were settled in India during 1960s and 1970s. As I am not an Indian national and do not have Indian documents required to open bank account, share trading account & demat account, I have been told by Mumbai companies concerned to obtain a Letters of Administration (and not a succession certificate). To open the above accounts, I have been told a person needs to have proper address proof in India and aadhaar card - which I do not think I can obtain. I need to obtain a Letters of Administration and have a person appointed as administrator to deal with the shares in the name of my late parents. Will the Mumbai High Court Grant Letters of Administration if the estate comprises only shares? unfortunately, there is no land, building or property in my parents name in India. Kindly advise Chhaya Sharma
