Site in Converted Land-Issues

I bought a 40 X 55 sq.ft land in a converted land of 1 acre out of the 2.0 acres that was with the land owner. The remaining 1.0 acre is still unconverted. The site was purchased from a seller who in turn bought from the GPA holders of the converted 1.0 acre. I have all the documents such as DC conversion, Village Map being sanctioned with my site number, taxes paid etc. But there was no map / sketch of the converted 1.0 acre out of 2.0 acre. Now the land owners are saying that my site is within the unconverted 1.0 acre. Further the entire survey number comprising about 20 acres has been declared as "Kharab" by the Tahsildar. I have two clarification requests 1. In absence of a map / sketch of the converted 1.0 acre land, from which side the measurements are taken in case a survey is done. Is merely the sequence of site numbers the reference. How can this be challenged. How can we ask for survey to start from my site side. Is there a law on that 2. In view of entire land of 20 acres being mentioned as "Kharab" what would be the status of my site as well as all others since it means several sites. Which issue to be resolved first and whose responsibility. Can the Tahsildar survey a "Kharab" land to settle land owner issue independently
